Aztec RV Resort

CPC assisted its client in the conversion of an abandoned mobile home park in the city of Margate to an upscale RV resort.

The project involved filing of a land use amendment and permitting for modifications to the lots and existing buildings. Modifications to the existing structures, a new pool installation and recreational amenities were designed and constructed.

This large-scale RV resort consists of 640 residential lots for custom RV owners. Design of all components included water and wastewater, grading and stormwater design. Landscape services were provided for conformity to the new code. The project’s lot modifications consisted of new amenities to individual lots.

CPC services included Master Planning assistance, preparation of construction documents including roadway and drainage system, sewer and lift station rehabilitation plans, design and permitting of Stormwater Management System and water use permit through Broward County and South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). CPC prepared a study of the C-14 canal system for SFWMD submittal, and provided Construction Services including bidding assistance, shop drawing review, construction inspection and certifications.

CPC also led the civil engineering and project management on the property’s expansive clubhouse and outdoor amenities.
