CPC is committed to being a good community partner. We understand it is our responsibility to ensure sustainability is incorporated into our projects and our business practices. We believe in enhancing the quality of life in those communities in which we serve through volunteering and participating in community organizations.
Field of Honor in Memory of 911
CPC staff volunteered to create the field of honor with the City of Margate. This living display of heroism was flown as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, commemorate the ten year anniversary of all those who died on September 11, 2001; fallen servicemen and women; currently serving military; veterans; and first responders.
Florida Construction Career Days
Another important aspect of our community involvement is mentoring students. We believe that it is our responsibility to enlighten the future generations of engineers, surveyors and planners. CPC staff volunteers our time to be a part of the Annual South Florida and Central Florida Construction Career Days events. The program is designed to introduce school students to the wide range of career opportunities available to them in the construction industry in a hands-on environment. Partner agencies and organizations responsible for the event include FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation), FTBA (Florida Transportation Builders Association), National Association of Women in Construction and the Federal Highway Administration.
