Landon “Alfie” Cross, PSM was officially appointed to serve on the Board of Professional Surveyors & Mappers (BPSM). Through the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers (BPSM), the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) licenses and regulates professional surveyors and mappers in Florida. Alfie started his career in Surveying & Mapping in 1970 and in 1982 earned his license as a Registered Land Surveyor, RLS.

Alfie’s 50+ years of experience in both the field and office award him an understanding of the day-to-day tasks that surveyors & mappers accomplish. Alfie brings a wealth of experience and historical knowledge to the BPSM and is excited to share and mentor the future generations of surveyors & mappers to maintain the excellence of this Profession. He mentioned “One of my reasons for wanting to be on the Board is that I want to contribute as a “team member” for the many years of support the Profession has given me.” At CPC we’re so proud of Alfie and honor his accomplishments and are thrilled that one of our own is on the Board representing the Survey Community.
