Everglades Pedestrian-Bike Loop, 10’ Shared Use Path
Government Services
The city selected CPC to begin a Basis of Design (BOD) and Conceptual Plans for a 10.2 mile pathway for biking, walking and running that will connect Coral Springs’ western edges to the Everglades Conservation Levee. This loop is located within the City of Coral Springs bounded by Sawgrass Expressway to the west, Wiles Road to the north, Stranahan River to the south, and various FDOT, and City owned roadways and private properties form the eastern boundary of this proposed loop.
CPC’s Traffic / Transportation Manager will lead the team for the loop design that will stretch along West Atlantic Blvd, Lakeview Dr, Coral Ridge Dr, Royal Palm Blvd, and West Sample Rd. The Everglades Loop is a significant project that will provide a much-needed safe and accessible space for people to enjoy the outdoors. The loop will also help to connect different parts of the city and promote physical activity.
