Seminole Tribe of Florida Big Cypress Reservation, The Groves Residential Development

The newest residential development on the Big Cypress Reservation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 4, 2024, on the property known as “The Groves.” It’s a two-phase project by Tribal Community Development. The ceremony marked the first phase, which features 57 single-family, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom homes with garages. STOF engaged CPC to provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspection and Reporting Services through the remainder of construction and close-out. CPC inspectors performed QA inspections, verified home completion, and confirmed readiness for acceptance by the Housing Department. The inspection process included walkthroughs with the contractor, development of punch lists, re-inspections to confirm corrections, and notification to the Residential Development QA Manager once a home is ready for final review.
