CPC provided full surveying support for the restoration of approximately 10,000 linear feet of dune line at Patrick Space Force Base in Brevard County, Florida. The effort aimed to restore and stabilize the shoreline to protect vital military infrastructure from coastal erosion and storm surge. This work reflects CPC’s commitment to supporting environmentally responsible infrastructure improvements within sensitive and mission-critical coastal zones.
Our team performed pre-construction, construction, and post-construction surveys to guide the reshaping of the dune based on new beach profiles developed from existing conditions. More than 51,000 cubic yards of beach sand were harvested from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and transported to the site, where it was carefully placed and graded. To complete the effort, approximately 81,000 native dune plants were installed to stabilize the newly formed dune and promote long-term resilience.
