Carnahan, Proctor and Cross, Inc. (CPC) played a key role in the revitalization of Old Town Kissimmee, one of Central Florida’s most beloved entertainment destinations. Located along US-192 in Kissimmee, Old Town has recreated the charm of a classic Florida town for over 30 years, offering a walkable 18-acre district filled with nostalgic architecture, eclectic shops, family-friendly attractions, and a lineup of weekly events—including America’s longest-running weekly car show and cruise, held every Saturday.
In 2016, Old Town celebrated its 30th anniversary with a multi-million dollar renovation, bringing new life to the landmark destination while preserving the old-school atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. As part of this transformation, CPC provided engineering and surveying services that supported the site’s modernization while maintaining its historic character.
Upgrades included a dramatic jukebox-inspired entrance, redesigned Main Street with new seating and landscaping, an expanded parking area, additional retail and dining options, and the return of the iconic 85-foot Ferris wheel. CPC’s work was instrumental in supporting infrastructure updates and site layout refinements, helping ensure that the expanded facilities met modern design and permitting standards while retaining the timeless feel that defines Old Town.
CPC’s involvement in Old Town’s redevelopment showcases our expertise in surveying and engineering for entertainment, hospitality, and mixed-use environments. By delivering practical solutions with attention to place-based character, our team helps preserve local identity while enabling future growth.
