CPC is proud to support Bechtel with Metrology Services on the new NASA Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) design-build project at Kennedy Space Center. CPC was selected to perform Surveying and Metrology/Precision Measurement services as a subconsultant. Bechtel is the Design-Build prime contractor for NASA, selected to build the approximately 355-foot-tall, 11.3-million-pound structure. The ML2 base’s backbone, or truss structure, has been redesigned to support the larger, more powerful rockets.

Bechtel’s team is working from the Kennedy Space Center to bring the mobile launcher from design to liftoff by providing project management, architectural and engineering design, technical integration, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning, and quality control services.
