Florida City Gas Safety, Access and Facility Enhancement (SAFE) Program

Florida City Gas (FCG), a NextEra Energy company, is continually improving and maintaining the natural gas pipeline infrastructure. Carnahan Proctor and Cross (CPC) have been providing design and surveying services to FCG for many years on a variety of assignments. FCG is a provider of natural gas to much of South Florida, as well as portions of the East Coast of Florida, including the following Counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard. As a professional services provider for FCG, CPC has been involved in projects of all sizes. Under the FCG’s Safety, Access and Facility Enhancement (SAFE) program which replaces and relocates natural gas pipes with newer, technologically advanced plastic pipe with a longer useful life, CPC has been a partner to FCG to help ensure that as Florida City Gas upgrades its gas distribution lines, as well as makes the system more accessible, with minimal disruption to its residents for repairs and maintenance going forward.
