Florida City Gas / NextEra Energy Master Services Agreement

Florida City Gas (FCG), a NextEra Energy company is continually improving and maintaining the natural gas pipeline infrastructure. Carnahan Proctor and Cross (CPC) have been providing surveying services to FCG for many years on a variety of assignments as shown in our images above. FCG is a provider of natural gas to much of South Florida, as well as portions of the East Central Coast of Florida. FCG serves portions of the following counties: Miami-Dade (west of I95), Broward (Miramar and Pembroke Park areas), Palm Beach (southwest part of the county), Martin (Jensen Beach and Treasure Coast Mall areas), St .Lucie (Port St. Lucie and St. Lucie West areas), Indian River (Vero Beach area), and Brevard. As a provider of survey services for FCG, Carnahan Proctor and Cross has been involved in projects both large and small. From design surveys for canal crossings, railroad crossings and valve stations to the right of way, construction staking and as-built surveys for a new 30-mile gas transmission line CPC has provided the right services for each FCG project we have been involved in. Under the FCG’s Safety, Access and Facility Enhancement (SAFE) program which replaces and relocates natural gas pipes with newer, technologically advanced plastic pipe with a longer useful life, CPC has been a partner of FCG to ensure that as Florida City Gas upgrades its gas distribution lines, as well as makes the system more accessible, with minimal disruption to its residents for repairs and maintenance going forward.
