Everglades Restoration Plan

Industry Type:

CPC’s Geomatics Team provides surveying services for restoration and construction projects throughout the state of Florida. Projects include the C-51 Reservoir, located in Western Palm Beach County, the C-43 West Basin Storage Reservoir, located in Hendry County, and the L-28 South Culverts, located in Miami-Dade County, which are all part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan.

The Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) is a large-scale restoration project in South Florida aimed at restoring the quantity, quality, timing, and distribution of water in the Everglades ecosystem. It’s a partnership between the federal government and the State of Florida, with the goal of re-establishing natural water flows, improving water quality, and protecting the Everglades from saltwater intrusion and the impacts of sea level rise.
