Dania Pointe Mixed-Use Development

Dania Pointe is a 102-acre, mixed-use development that started as a barren brownfield site with abandoned buildings and an old wooden roller coaster. Over the course of this four-year construction project, it transformed into a premier and distinguished development housing retail, restaurants, offices, parking decks, multifamily units, and a hotel. The first phase of work consisted of a typical regional shopping center of approximately 325,000 square feet, anchored by a warehouse club, a variety of medium-sized junior anchor tenants, small shop tenants, restaurants, and pad building site.

The second phase of the project focused on the north side of the site. It consisted of an entertainment facility, office space, two 6-story parking decks with 1,628 spaces, and a mix of high-end retail and restaurants in a lifestyle setting, including a massive green area for visitors to relax and play. The retail and restaurant component of the lifestyle portion of the project will be a combination of one- and two-story buildings totaling about 600,000 square feet. There are 169 retail spaces for both phases.
