Infinity Falls at SeaWorld Orlando

Industry Type:

Carnahan, Proctor and Cross, Inc. (CPC) proudly contributed to the development of one of SeaWorld Orlando’s most thrilling attractions—Infinity Falls. This whitewater raft ride takes guests on a journey through a lush jungle environment filled with ancient ruins, interactive water elements, and one of the tallest drops of its kind on a river rapids attraction.

Designed to deliver both thrills and a message of global water conservation, Infinity Falls begins as a scenic river adventure and quickly builds into a fast-moving ride through soaking rapids, chutes, and waterfalls. The experience culminates with a dramatic plunge into Harmony Village, where guests are encouraged to connect with and protect the world’s rivers.

To support this 2019 attraction, CPC provided comprehensive Design Topographic Survey services, using a combination of conventional surveying methods and digital scanning technology. The survey covered the existing ride areas and surrounding terrain, incorporating both 5-foot and 10-foot grid intervals to enable highly accurate contour line interpolation and effective land-use planning.

Working closely with SeaWorld’s design and engineering team, including SeaWorld’s Vice President, CPC’s work played a vital role in shaping the terrain and infrastructure needed to bring Infinity Falls to life. The site’s unique layout and integration of environmental theming required precise elevation data and spatial accuracy to support construction and engineering efforts.

Led by Project Manager Jim Quartel, PSM, CPC’s team delivered detailed survey data that helped ensure smooth coordination across disciplines—from site preparation and grading to final ride installation. The project continues to showcase how CPC’s expertise in hospitality and entertainment survey services can enhance guest experiences while supporting innovative ride design.
