The City of Miramar selected CPC to perform CEI services for Safety Improvements and Bike and Pedestrian Enhancements. CPC understands the City has committed to administer and deliver the project under the FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) Guidelines for constructing buffered bike lanes, shared use paths, and sidewalks. The various segments of the project include Miramar Parkway (from Commerce Pkwy to Palm Ave) includes roadway milling and resurfacing, a 7’ bike lane on the northside, and a 9’ shared use path on the southside. Miramar Parkway (from Palm Ave to Douglas Rd.) includes a 10’ shared-use path on both sides. SW 148th Ave (from SW 48th Court to SW 36TH Street) consists of a shared-use path on the east side with on-street sharrows on the west side. SW 148th Ave (SW 36TH Street to SW 30th Street) includes on-street sharrows on both the east side and the west side. SW 148th Ave (from SW 30th Street to SW 27th Street) consists of a shared-use path on the west side with on-street sharrows for the west side. SW 68th Ave (from Miramar Parkway to SW 27th Court), a 5’ sidewalk on the west side.
