City of Margate Public Works Storage Facility Replacement

The City of Margate owns, operates, and maintains the Public Works Storage Quonset Hut Structures. These units were originally constructed in 1973 and have undergone numerous repairs and panel replacements. These storage units are utilized to store supplies and equipment for the City’s Public Works, Parks and Grounds, Police, and Fire Departments. A new facility is needed to provide adequate space and security, as well as a safe working environment for the employees.  CPC’s scope includes the development of design concepts and opinions of probable construction costs, design considerations, permitting, and project construction management and construction inspections. Additional responsibilities include directing and coordinating all aspects, including the Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), Civil Design, and Construction Management Services for the new prefabricated steel structure.
