City of Margate NW 8th Street Complete Streets Reconstruction

Under our Continuing Professional Services Contract with the City of Margate, CPC was selected to perform complete civil engineering design services, surveying, permitting, bidding and post design services for Roadway Reconstruction of NW 8th Street between NW 67th Avenue to NW 69th Avenue.

Herb Tillman, CGC will be the Project Manager for this Complete Streets reconstruction which includes the replacing existing 2” galvanized water main with a new 6” PVC water main & service laterals, valves and fire hydrants. Replacing and/or adjusting existing sidewalks & driveway approaches as needed, new pavement markings, and adjusting existing landscape swales and utility manholes for improved stormwater runoff design.

The design will comply with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), codes, ordinances, rules, orders and other legal requirements of public authorities having jurisdiction.
