City of Delray Historic Memorial Gardens Expansion

The Parks and Recreation department oversees the Delray Beach Memorial Gardens Municipal Cemetery. The City is expanding and constructing a new Mausoleum that will allow for additional grave space and niche burials. CPC is a professional service provider for the City of Delray Beach under a continuing services contract and was awarded this contract. CPC’s scope of services and responsibilities include reviewing and providing comments on and approving all shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFI) from the City’s selected Contractor (GC). CPC attended the City Kick-off meeting with the Contractor and attended all Construction Progress meetings with both the City and Contractor. CPC currently performs construction inspections that include both field inspections and final inspections, creating punch list items, permit close-out documents, and a letter of substantial completion to the City. The scope of work includes CPC performing surveying services, including topographic and GPR locations, subsurface utility and engineering (SUE) services, geotechnical investigation & soils report, construction administrative services, and construction inspections.
