City of Coral Springs, Shadow Wood Blvd

This sidewalk study included an arborist report and landscaping impact evaluation to existing sidewalks along Shadow Wood Boulevard in Coral Springs. The study identified the damage caused by trees planted in a small planting strip creating sidewalk strip hazards and making the sidewalks non-ADA compliance.

The study recommended the City to develop landscaping alternatives with native species suitable for the area. Additionally, several pedestrian ramps were evaluated for ADA compliance. From the study 7 of 8 ramps were found non-compliance with ADA requirements.
