Over the past decade, the aviation industry has undergone significant change and Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) has evolved with it. Once faced with the challenge of redefining its role in a shifting landscape, CVG has emerged as a key regional hub, positioned for continued growth and success.
In response to increasing passenger demand and evolving air travel dynamics, CVG is undertaking a Master Plan Update with a 30-year planning horizon. This comprehensive initiative will explore safe and efficient strategies for future development across passenger facilities, vehicle access, parking, cargo operations, airfield pavement, and other vital airport infrastructure.
Carnahan, Proctor and Cross (CPC) was selected to support this effort by conducting a detailed inventory of existing conditions. This foundational work provides data-driven insights into CVG’s current assets and operational environment—critical to informing strategic, sustainable decisions for long-term growth.
CPC’s contributions will help ensure that CVG continues to meet the region’s transportation needs with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and smart expansion.
