Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Carnahan, Proctor and Cross, Inc. (CPC) was proud to support the reimagining of dining experiences at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort through detailed interior survey documentation for the newly introduced Ale & Compass Restaurant, Ale & Compass Lounge, and The Market at Ale & Compass.

This multi-phase dining renovation replaced the former Captain’s Grille with a refined, coastal-inspired concept that aligns with the nautical elegance of the resort. The all-new Ale & Compass Restaurant now serves as the resort’s main Table Service dining option, accompanied by the refurbished lounge and expanded quick-service Market area.

To support this transformation, CPC was tasked with providing a comprehensive existing conditions survey of the restaurant and bar sections. The purpose of this documentation was to assist the design and construction teams with a reliable baseline of site conditions before executing layout and infrastructure changes.

Our scope of services included:

• Mapping wall locations and thickness
• Documenting floor levels and slab thickness
• Surveying above-ceiling tile conditions
• Providing updated floor plans of key interior areas

Working within a high-end, operational hospitality environment required precision and discretion. CPC delivered accurate, actionable data that supported a smooth renovation process and ensured alignment with Disney’s high design and construction standards.
