Osceola County selected CPC to perform Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for this project. The Buenaventura Boulevard safety improvements project is designed to improve the corridor, from Florida Parkway to Osceola Parkway, approximately 1.4 miles. The project will be designed in accordance with a safety study of the corridor conducted in 2020 by the Florida Department of Transportation. The project includes roadway improvements and signalization improvements, as well as improved access for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
The BVL Complete Streets project comprises the second phase of planned improvements, from Simpson Road to Osceola Parkway, approximately 2.4 miles. This project aims to reduce vehicular speeds and includes the construction of two roundabouts at Trotter’s Circle and Florida Parkway, a 12-foot-wide shared-use path, and additional flashing beacons for pedestrian crossings, among other amenities
