Harold Dubon P.E., Senior Project Engineer, will lead the team selected for this project. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Turnpike Enterprise has undertaken a tremendous engineering effort to increase capacity, safety and quality along the Turnpike Corridor due to the local and seasonal traveling public, in order to accomplish its motto: “The Less Stressway”. As part of this effort, both sections of the Turnpike Mainline (SR-91) between MP 178.287 and MP 185.0, and MP 185.0 to MP 190.5, both located in Indian River and Okeechobee Counties, were redesigned for resurfacing, roadside improvements, and safety upgrades to increase its capacity and bring a better service to the traveling people and all the heavy traffic increments due to a constant growing rate of users of this important corridor connecting South and Central Florida areas.
