John Hart P.E., CEI Senior Project Engineer, will lead his current team in transition to this newly awarded project. This challenging project involves the reconstruction of a principal rural arterial bordered by Indian Sun Groves, Hungryland Wildlife Area, SFWMD parcels and the CSX R/R tracks. Because the existing roadway is part of Florida’s Strategic Intermodal System (and freight corridor) it has been deemed as a “high needs project”. As such, the design will enhance safety and improve hurricane evacuation routes by reconstructing 5.5 miles of SR710 from a 2-lane to a 4-lane divided section from SR 76 to the Palm Beach county line.
