Another important aspect of our community involvement is mentoring students. We believe that it is our responsibility to enlighten the future generations of engineers, surveyors and planners. CPC staff volunteers our time to be a part of the Annual South Florida and Central Florida Construction Career Days events. The program is designed to introduce school students to the wide range of career opportunities available to them in the construction industry in a hands-on environment. Partner agencies and organizations responsible for the event include FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation), FTBA (Florida Transportation Builders Association), National Association of Women in Construction and the Federal Highway Administration.
