CPC’s Alfie Cross Presents $15,000 NCEES Grant to FAU Surveying Students on Behalf of BPSM

CPC proudly celebrates Alfie Cross, PSM, who recently presented a $15,000 grant from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) to the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Geomatics/Surveying program on behalf of the Board of Professional Surveyors & Mappers (BPSM). This impactful contribution will directly benefit students by supporting their academic journey and advancing the future of the surveying profession.

During the presentation, Alfie spoke about CPC’s strong support for FAU’s Geomatics program and reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to hiring and mentoring local talent, especially FAU graduates. Events like these reflect CPC’s long-standing dedication to workforce development and to strengthening the surveying industry in Florida.

In the group photo, you can spot Alfie on the far right standing next to CPC’s Jeremy Jones’ daughter, a former CPC intern and current FAU surveying student—an inspiring example of how our mentorship and outreach are making a difference.

This moment underscores CPC’s continued investment in education, community partnerships, and the growth of the next generation of professional surveyors.
